Little Leaguers

We just finished spring season of little league. Austin was in double A minors. He was on the A's. This is his second year playing and he made a lot of progress. He's not afraid of the ball anymore! Austin loved the games but hated going to practice. By the end of the season he was glad to have more free time in his life. Free time for what??? Video games, computers, and t.v. of course.
Brandon was in Single A on the White Sox. He was one of the biggest players on his team. He made a lot of progress this year too. He was in T-ball last year. He had a couple of mishaps with the ball hitting his face/glasses. But all is well now. Brandon can catch the ball much better. We're all happy that the season is over now. It was so time consuming. So many practices and games every week. We got cheated out of four-wheeling for pretty much the whole season!
Payton's favorite part about baseball was seeing his friends and going to the snack bar. He's becoming quite the ladies man. All the girls follow him around shouting Payton! Payton!
I loved watching the boys play baseball. (It was also very nerve wracking.) We sat at many a game freezing our butt's off! It was all worth it as long as our little leaguers got to Play Ball!

Disney World

Our family vacation this year was to Disney World. We had so much fun, isn't it the Happiest Place On Earth? We were there 10 days and loved every minute of it. A couple days we went to Disney, a couple at Busch Gardens, and a couple at the water parks. The kids voted Busch Gardens as their favorite. They loved all the roller coasters. Even little Payton went on them (if he met the height requirement). Some of them I didn't even go on. Tom called me a chicken. My favorite was the water park because it was so stinking hot everyday! My favorite ride was at Disney World. It's a new ride called Toy Story Mania. It's similar to Buzz Light Year but better. You have to wear the funky 3-D glasses. Of course Tom was always getting the high score of the family.

First Edition

I can't believe it. The Cavanagh's finally have a blogspot! We're trying to keep up with the times. I'm excited to start this so we can share our life experiences with our family and friends. Now we can record life's special moments and have it for years to come. I hope all of you come visit our site!
